well taken photograph…the commentary is deep. Personally, I’d rather watch two adult humans pummel each other in a boxing ring.

thank you Meighanson for your comment. I can still remember the pandemonium of voices shouting all at the same time with their arms extended “samasamasamasamaSAMASAMASAMASAMA!!!” just before the fight started….or at least that is what I thought they were saying…
This picture brings to me different feelings…I dont like to see anymals suffering…cockfighting is banned in indonesia and i think it is only consent as a part of religious ceremonies…but yet I was trully amazed by this community of people gathering together and following this really ancient Balinese Hindouism tradition. In Bali, cockfights, known as tajen, are practiced in an ancient religious purification ritual to expel evil spirits.
I find very interesting your comment regarding Ill rather watch two adult humans pummel each other in a boxing ring! It takes out the aggression towards other species, and makes it look more legal…although it is still a story about violence…and it seems violence is something that nobody likes but yet it happens all the time.
