it reminds me of trekking in Nepal where the sheep flooded the footpaths seemingly of one mind. great picture!

Never been in Nepal, it is the north of Spain, near the pirinees mountains, not too many people live there anymore.
Wish I will go to Nepal one day!

I think it takes a minute to really appreciate this picture. At quick glance it’s easy to take it for granted, but at closer look there is so much depth and emotion. It is clear that a shepherd’s work isn’t easy. Moving picture, worth a second look…

Good Evening: It’s not hard to figure out why this is such a good shot–almost all of the animals are looking directly at the camera. The way the heads line up in columns on the left hand side is very pleasing, as is the sort of triangle formation in the middle.

Near what town, do you know? Our grandmother was from St. Etienne de Baigorry which is 8 kilometers from Spanish border. We own land there. And my aunt’s family is from Pamplona and Jurieta.
